Colour pencil in sketchbook

375 artists donated postcard sized artworks to the RWA art gallery in Bristol for their yearly fundraiser the Secret Postcard Auction. I was proud to be one of these artists, especially when this year, (2023), it raised a fantastic £93,674.10 to continue to make art accessible to all.

7th November 2023 - 7th January 2024

This diverse and lively exhibition showcased more than 80 distinctive pieces created by 43 members of the RWA team. It encompassed individuals from various departments, such as the office staff, front-of-house team, freelancers, and Drawing School Tutors. "Also Artists" was dedicated to honouring the unique creative talents of the remarkable individuals who contribute to the daily operation of the RWA.

When all your brother wants for his birthday is a sandwich, just don’t get him that and give him a miniature drawing of one that is so small it gets lost in the post for a month. I am available for commissions ;) But honestly I am. I work for money or general approval.

I attended a Cato Press Introduction to Lino Printing class and made these teethy prints.

Born Hybrid, an independent, sustainable clothing brand, used one of these prints on their wonderful t-shirts.

Raash illustration design for BlobbyZine advertising femident toothpaste. Artist Honey Parast organised the BlobbyZine that was 52 glorious pages of comics, poems and illustrations by 22 different brilliant artists - all celebrating our favourite chaotic creature.

Treasure box

I made this treasure box in a workshop with the wonderful Lucy Roberts in 2019. She creates lots of fantastic work, my favourite being her treasure boxes. I was lucky enough to take part in a workshop she ran to help people create there own. It was a lovely class and I love my treasure box.

I made this in a wonderful workshop at the Bristol Folk House. It’s not particularly relevant to my illustration work but I made it and I’m proud of it and I would recommend the Folk House’s lovely classes any and every day.
